Sam Wolson Is a photographer, filmmaker and immersive media director with a background working with editorial and corporate clients such as National Geographic, Apple and The New York Times. He grew up on a flower farm in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, and he's currently based in Berlin, Germany. His work focuses on issues around marginalization and public space in the global South and across the United States. His most recent project We Who Remain had its world premier at the South By Southwest festival in Austin Texas in 2017 and won the SIFF award for best VR experience. The film is the first character driven immersive documentary shot in an active conflict zone.
